The Product Manager will play a crucial role in offering professional advice to support and identify growth opportunities in the market, as well as in designing and supporting commercial operations to reach related markets and customers. The role involves driving Voice of Customer activities to ensure a strong positioning and growth of the product line. Additionally, the Product Manager will assess customer experiences and process technical support data collaboratively with development, product planning, sales, and other internal personnel. This position will work closely with the General Manager to provide developmental support to partners in the region.

EDUCATION: Degree / Diploma in Engineering, preferably in the electrical / electronic field
LANGUAGE SKILLS: 1. Fluent in written and verbal English 2. Another language (in Southeast Asia) is a plus

Perform market research and analysis, including competitor analyses, sales forecasts, and monitoring new market trends, to support proposed marketing programs and new product introductions.
Take responsibility for presales activities and post-sales support, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction in the region.
Conduct technical trainings and seminars (roadshows) at customers' premises.
Visit customers to perform technical qualification of potential projects and discuss potential sales opportunities with the sales team.
Coordinate and initiate business relationships with third parties, joint marketing partners, and other industry participants.
Provide support through demo instruction, tool development, and functional demonstrations. Execute commercial promotion plans and introduction programs. Plan and participate in seminars, trade shows, and other special marketing events or campaigns.
Organise internal trainings for sales teams and regional partners.
Stay informed about new product launches and acquire technical knowledge about them.
Prepare and propose technical slides, demo kits, and other materials as required by market conditions.
Take responsibility for loan/sample requests and work with the sales team to ensure maximum results.
Develop product go-to-market programs to achieve overall revenue targets and market share goals.
Support RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
Provide weekly updates to the supervisor.
Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
At least 5-8 years relevant experience
Knowledge of marketing management, product planning, and sales forecast principles, methods, and practices.
Proven analytical capabilities for competitive assessment, market research, and strategic planning.
Experience in Process Safety Applications will be an added advantage.
Familiarity with and a preference for working in an SME-type structure.
Occasional travel in the region is required.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
High degree of initiative, drive, and responsibility.
